Visiting a church for the first time can be both exciting and a little nerve-wracking. As a new guest, you can expect to be greeted warmly by members of the congregation, who are eager to make newcomers like yourself feel welcome. Services typically begin with music and singing, followed by a message or sermon from the pastor. Our services at CCSV, begin at 10:30 am in the Multi-Purpose Room of the Sun Village Community Center and generally last an hour.
There is also time for prayer, announcements, and opportunities to connect with others after the service. You will find that people dress in a variety of styles, but overall, the dress is casual. We have volunteers or staff available to answer any questions and help you find your way around. You’ll find a friendly atmosphere where everyone is encouraged to participate as much or as little as they feel comfortable.
Refreshments and coffee are available for you to enjoy. Overall, at CCSV we hope you will find a welcoming environment where you can explore faith, meet new people, and learn more about the church community.
