At Community Church at Sun Village (CCSV) we desire to be a balanced healthy Christ centered non-denominational church in how we worship, live our daily lives, and build relationships with others.
Here are several things you should know about CCSV:
1. We major on the majors, and minor on the minors. What we mean by that is, we are a people who focus on eight core essentials of the Christian faith. At CCSV we have people who come from different places, backgrounds, and personalities, that all come together united around one thing- seeking to worship and live in the way of Jesus. We want to love him, know him, and make him known.
2. We love to be together, and we love to have fun. God has adopted us into his family and made us family together. We enjoy being together whether through Sunday worship, weekly small groups, Bible studies, monthly potlucks, special events, or just hanging out to have a cup of coffee. We aim to be a community that loves each other and finds joy in living life together.
3. We want to serve others, unleashing Jesus’ love, care, and compassion to those in need. We want to do all we can to tangibly express God’s love to the hungry and hurting whether they be in Sun Village, the West Valley, or around the world.
4. We desire to spread God’s love wherever we live and go. Jesus went to extremes to reach people, from healing people and feeding people to ultimately dying for our sins. We want to be willing to go the extra mile to see people come to a personal faith in Jesus.
